Description
Play Game Boy games like ‘Super Mario Bros. 3,’ ‘Pokemon,’ ‘Zelda,’ and ‘Donkey Kong Country’ on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP. This handheld system is packed full of entertainment, but still small enough to slide right into a pocket. It features a flip-screen that is backlit and displays up to 32,000 colors. It runs on a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that provides up to 10 hours of game time with the light on and 18 hours with the light off. It works with Game Boy Advance SP games and it’s backward compatible, so it will also play Game Boy Advance games.

I’ll start by saying that I had a gameboy advanced Sp as a kid and I am really excited to own one again. I’m a little disappointed that this item arrived with just a little bit of a charge with no charger included as depicted in the picture. It looked like there was supposed to be a space for it in the box; however, it was nowhere to be found. I’m still really excited about playing it, the graphics look just like I remember and all the parts seem to be in order. The outer shell does seem a little cheaper and more plastic-y than what I remember, but it works and that is what matters. Overall, I’d say it’s a good value.

Good for the money! My son loves it, it’s probably a knock off but it’s made well! All the bootleg games I bought (Lol) work great! Very clear screen! No One would know the difference it works fantastic!

So it looks great the build is solid screen is amazing the problem I have is it has a hard time trying to read gameboy and gameboy color games it freezes and when I do get it to work there’s this static sound that that doesn’t leave. I’ve tried to many times. In conclusion the gameboy advance sp looks great but a bit defective unfortunately..

Great little handheld! I bought it because I wanted to play my old Pokémon games on a gba for a bit of nostalgia . But because the one I had laying around had a nonfunctional screen I decided I wanted a new one. This Pikachu themed gba so is great! It’s almost exactly like the limited edition one Nintendo once sold, but with red buttons (which I think suits it better) instead of brown. The system itself functions pretty well. All the buttons are responsive, games run smoothly and the charging is nice and fast. Only thing I didn’t check is it’s wireless/Wired adapter functionality.
The only things that might not be so great is that the case has a bit of a stiff plastic feel to it. Personally I don’t mind the cheap feel to it, but I’m sure some might.
Also while the screen functions great the one I got seems to have a single defective pixel. The pixel is really small so it’s hard to see it unless you get up close to the screen but it is noticeable sometimes. It’s not dead btw, but rather inclined to being blue when certain colors are shown. Lastly, the one I have appears to have a spec of dust or something behind the screen so it can be noticeably bothersome sometimes.
Overall the system is pretty decent, I suppose I just didn’t get that lucky with the draw. Even so, I recommend it.
